Welcome to the Careers Department at Smithills School. My name is Andrea Bennett, and I am the Careers Leader.

My role involves ensuring that students have access to a wide range of career information, work experience opportunities, and learning experiences to help them explore various career paths and the world of work. Our goal is to inspire ambition and drive success for every student.

I am deeply passionate about helping young people make informed decisions about their future, whether it be in further education or the workforce. It is a privilege to be in a position where I can continue this important work, while also supporting the wider curriculum at Smithills.

I am here to guide and support all students as they make crucial decisions about their post-16 options, including applications to colleges, sixth forms, training providers, or other employment and training opportunities.
